We love stories! And we’re inviting you to make up your own, as part of the Stepping Into Stories Kids’ Lit Fest

The theme this year is 'REACH FOR THE STARS!' - whatever that means to you!
Perhaps your story will feature an adventure with aliens in outer space? A fantastical daydream that takes you out of this world? Or perhaps it’s about an ambition, something difficult, something amazing you want to achieve. The possibilities are endless!
Create Your Story!

All you have to do is create a story with the theme of 'REACH FOR THE STARS!'.
You can make your story in any way you want to - drawing, writing, comic strip, drama, poetry, rap, digital animation - just as long as it fits on a single page of paper, or if it’s a film or recording, make sure it’s no longer than two minutes.
There are three age categories:

4 - 7 years
8 - 11 years
12 + years

The deadline for submitting stories is
Friday 10th January 2025
The amazing Robin Stevens will be announcing the winners and presenting prizes: Saturday 8th February 2025 in Station Hall, Herne Hill.
